More about Truth

'Truth is a pathless land'. Man cannot come to it through any organisation, through any creed, through any dogma, priest or ritual, not through any philosophic knowledge or psychological technique. He has to find it through the mirror of relationship, through the understanding of the contents of his own mind . . .
Statement by Krishnamurti in 1981

Its interesting that they post this quote because Krishnamurti's entire life was dedicated to talking to people about the Truth. I think Krishnamurti may have been onto the truth. He may have stumbled on it completely by accident. I once read one of his biographies and it seems that the circumstances were ripe. He wasn't looking for the truth, even when he was heralded as a Savior. He wasn't given any great tradition to follow, and it seems pretty clear that he was vividly aware that his benefactors were frauds. Everyone expected him to know the truth, and he felt like he wanted to find it because he wanted to please them.
